Detlef Schrempf NBA legends will conduct coaching clinic 40 young players Indonesian National Basketball League (NBL) at the C-Tra Arena Bandung, 21-23 September 2010.
This program is part of Indonesia Development Camp (IDC), in collaboration the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the NBL, which is entering its second year. This camp focuses on developing talented young players and increase the level of Indonesian basketball game.
Detlef Schrempf that in fact the former Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers and Seattle SuperSonics Portland Trail Blazers will provide an advanced level of material to the 40 young players who represent the ten-team NBL Indonesia. The player who had three times signed this NBA All-Star coaches will be assisted from the NBL Indonesia.
"We are delighted to be working with the NBA and bring world-class basketball camp back to Indonesia. Learn from one of the most famous NBA legend and a lot of professionals will help improve the quality of our young players, "said Azrul Ananda, Indonesia NBL commissioner.
This Camp will contain an intensive training and development programs of other players. Motivational life-skills seminars were also held in various themes, such as leadership, strength and conditioning, and teamwork.
IDC is the second time in Indonesia. Last year's 48 best young players the opportunity to undergo DBL camp along with former Sacramento Kings player Kevin Martin, as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers assistant coach Joe Prunty and former Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach Neal Meyer.
