State Secretary Sudi Silalahi states, the names of candidates for Chief of Police has been submitted to the President to immediately processed further.
"Police said yesterday's candidate has been submitted to the President," Sudi said when met at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Wednesday.
However, Sudi states have not received a disposition of the President. After receiving the disposition, Sudi will soon draft a letter to the House of Representatives related to the nomination of certain names as the Chief of Police.
"Maybe in time we will immediately create a letter to the Parliament to ask for approval," said Sudi without willing to mention the names of who was nominated to be Chief of Police.
Sudi stating it was likely the government will only propose one candidate for a replacement police chief Pol Gen Bambang Hendarso Danuri who will soon retire. House of Representatives, said Sudi, tasked to approve or reject candidates proposed by the government.
