Indonesian racer, Rio Haryanto (17), won the most prestigious prize in Motorsport Formula Junior Single, namely a test drive in Virgin Racing VR-01 Formula 1.
In a press release Virgin Media Racing on Sunday (09/12/2010) mentioned, this prize is offered by Virgin Racing team at the beginning of the season to the pebalap who obtained the highest number in the GP3 Series in Manor Racing.
Rio entered the GP3 Series after dominating the Formula BMW Pacific championship in 2009. He pocketed the 11 victories and went on to victory this year in Turkey in 2010 and rose to the podium a few times.
Virgin Racing stated very pleased and congratulate the Rio Haryanto. The team tested the F1 car waiting Rio. This test will be conducted at the end of F1 season.
