Democratic Party Chairman Anas Urbaningrum declare the results of three recent surveys show that people believe in the leadership of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). Democratic Party, said Anas, will continue to support, safeguard and ensure SBY more stable, effective and productive.

Yesterday, The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), the world's non-governmental organizations that focus on campaigning for democracy, released the results of a survey which confirmed the popularity of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. IFES survey is in line with survey results from two Indonesian Survey Institute and Indobarometer equally made in August 2010.

"Both the LSI survey, and last Indobarometer IFES survey, showed that the level of public satisfaction with the performance of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is still high," said Anas. "It means people trust and hope to SBY will be maintained, although not a few issues that do not benefit the President and Government," he said in writing, Friday, October 1, 2010.

Anas is the second conclusion, the survey results show increasingly clear and rational people in assessing the situation. "People do not easily dictated by the negative issues that developed," said Anas.

Third, the maintained level of public satisfaction is valuable capital for President Yudhoyono and the Government to continue and finish the job until 2014, with performance and better achievement. "I believe that President Yudhoyono and the Government increasingly encouraged to increase the success of the government to increase people's welfare," said Anas.

IFES found in the survey in August 2010 the President judged satisfactory performance by 66 percent of 2,500 respondents representing the entire population of Indonesia. Margin of error for this survey is more or less 2 percent.

LSI find, also in August, the level of satisfaction on the President to reach 66 percent of 1850 respondents. Margin of error for this survey is more or less 2.8 percent with 95 percent confidence level.

Figures released Indobarometer somewhat different in August, the level of satisfaction on SBY only 50.9 percent of 1,200 respondents. Margin of error for this survey approximately 3 percent with 95 percent confidence level.

LSI senior researcher, Burhanuddin Muhtadi, said that although different numbers, the majority of respondents from these three surveys to assess SBY satisfactory. Satisfy this indicator, said Burhan, equivalent to elektabilitas SBY. Only a slightly different Indobarometer survey, said Burhan, but still a majority of the value of SBY satisfactory.
