Photography exhibition featuring the work of the expedition team photo of the front lines to explore the archipelago's outer islands in Indonesia in 1992 was officially opened by Kuntoro Mangkusubroto as Chairman of the Board of Trustees GFJA Expedition in Jakarta, Friday night.
In his address, which is also the Chairman Kuntoro Presidential Unit Monitoring and Control Development (UKP4) expects that in the photo exhibition commemorating the 65th anniversary Kemederdakaan Indonesia, is able to spread the inspiration for the children of Indonesia.
The exhibition was held Antara Journalistic Photo Gallery (GFJA) cooperate with Wanadri and Home Archipelago and titled "Children At Home Leadership We Archipelago" to commemorate 65 years of Indonesian Independence.
Activities frontline archipelago expedition conducted over a period of three years commencing on May 8, 2008 until July 15, 2010.
The expedition brought a replica statue of the Indonesian Nation Proclaimers Soekarno and Hatta were the red and white, managed to capture a portrait of Indonesian children in the diversity and beauty of Indonesia.
In the exhibition room, there is a unique display of the results of exploratory expedition to the front lines of the archipelago to the outer Indonesian islands such as beach sand samples are packaged in small bottles above the sheet of paper that contains maps of each island which amounts to 15 islands of a total of 92 islands, including is Mangkai Panambulai island, Alor, Makalehi, and Selaru.
On each island the expedition team consisting of 11 men, digging a tablet-shaped iron pole 1 meter in height each bearing the name of the island who visited the island and kordinatnya point, other than that there is a written message in a bottle that the team put into these relic.
The message reads "one day every citizen who resides in the thousands of islands separated easily visit each other among the sea islands (island-between), has become a liaison rather than unify the separator for the Homeland."
