The National Team Body (BTN) said it plans to invite for the South American side for friendlies in Jakarta later this year. It wants a tune-up on the Merah Putih with Argentina 12th On 7 October and Brazil November schedule.

BTN has with the Dutch Football Federation together to organize a training camp in the Netherlands in September.
"These players are going through the various phases of the selection process, and we will choose five of the best players. Then we will give them a chance to play for Indonesia," said Iman.
"[Youth and sports] Minister Andi Malarangeng told me that he has spoken, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights on the matter, and they are ready to help."
