Yudhoyono succeed to impose Timur Pradopo as New Chief of Indonesian National Police


Commission III of the House of Representatives finally approved the nomination unanimously Komjen Timur Pradopo as Chief of Indonesian National Police (Police) replaced General (Pol) Bambang Hendarso Danuri.

"Komjen Timur Pradopo have the right capabilities and with critical input from members of Commission III, in principle the Democratic Party agreed to the dismissal of police chief General (Pol) Bambang Hendarso Danuri and approved the appointment of Komjen Timur Pradopo as Chief of Police," said a spokesman for the Democratic Party groups, Didi Irawadi Syamsuddin.

Meanwhile, the fraction of PKS through his spokesman, Nasir Djamil, revealed that the Timur should be able to minimize the corruption that still surrounds the Police. Hopefully, this condition can be minimized and eliminated as long as you served," said Nasir.
