PT Bukit Darmo Property Tbk (BKDP) reportedly is in the exploration of collaboration with several foreign strategic investors to work on several hospitality projects in Surabaya and other places.

Brasada Chandra, secretary of the company when asked for confirmation Bukit Darmo said the company is currently negotiating with several foreign investors in building and working on hospitality projects. "They were from Asia (Singapore and Hong Kong) and Europe," said Brasada.
In fact, he adds, the company and strategic investor is also discussed a plan to form a subsidiary (joint venture) joint. "There is a way to get there," said Brasada.
As of August 31, 2010, PT Adhibalaraja own shares amounting to 35.54 percent BKDP coded, Hendro Sumampow 8.20 percent, and Bukit Darmo Property amounting to 6.33 percent. The rest was held by the public.
In early trading this week, BKDP close higher at the level of Rp109. When opening the transaction today, the stock price rose Rp1 or 0.91 percent at Rp110 position.
Previously, the company is known also is exploring cooperation with the hotel operator from the United States to work on the construction of hotels in Surabaya.
Brasada admitted, foreign operators are already experienced in managing five star hotels and international standard. "Because we built the hotel is also international and five-star class," he said.
