Every day, Yudhoyono is facing lawsuits from people


Legal challenge to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono during the January to October 2010 reached 120 demands. Application of law through the Constitutional Court reached 53 cases.

State Secretary (minister) Sudi Silalahi recognize the year 2010 was the President faced many lawsuits. He states in the range of January to October 2010, he received 120 lawsuits directed against President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).

"These demands are many. Compared to the era of President Suharto or President Sukarno was a great deal. At most, if used just one or two lawsuits," he said in a Work Meeting (Meeting) together with the Commission II of DPR, the Parliament Building, Jakarta, Monday (11/10).

He details these demands, among others, 29 a civil lawsuit, 11 State Administrative lawsuit, 27 cases legal petition in the Supreme Court (MA), and 53 cases by the Constitutional Court (MK).

According to him, the Secretariat of State (State Secretariat) can not avoid this lawsuit. The demand was conveyed through the clerks. That is, the proposed process meets the rule of law. As a result, nearly every day of the State Secretariat to make a power of attorney to serve the demands of this law in court.
