Minister of Research and Technology, Suharna Surapranata launched the robot Sewayang which is a work of innovation PT PLN (Persero). The launch event, held at Headquarters PLN Jakarta, Tuesday (19/10). The robot Sewayang proven to enhance work efficiency of PLN.
"Robot is to facilitate the work Sewayang PLN to meet the electricity supply to the community. This is a manifestation of the nation who work benefits can be felt directly," he said.
Present on the occasion PLN board of directors include Director of Primary Energy Nur Pamudji and Director of Planning and Technology Nasri Sebag. Dahlan Iskan PLN president director was unable to attend, because they must accompany the Vice President Boediono to China.
Robot Sewayang is, able to clean the conductors in transmission and distribution network which is difficult human labor. Suharna invite PLN continues to develop research and technology development activities, in order to improve the quality of electricity supply service to the community.
PLN Corporate Secretary Ida Bagus G Mardawa P said, Sewayang robot has been tested in transmission and distribution network in East Java and Depok. "Looking ahead, PLN will continue to create innovative works to improve efficiency," he explained.
Meanwhile, Head of Research and Development Center Parmono PLN Hadi added, so far, it has created a 1457 work of innovation. "As many as six of them in the process patents and two others have got patents," he said. Indonesia Today
