President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) ready to be on the front line when Indonesia finally declared war with Malaysia. SBY statement is linked to the RI-Malaysia border dispute lately.
"If indeed this nation the option of war, yes the war. I'll be in the front, not after one's back," Yudhoyono said when opening the National Youth Leadership Meeting in Jakarta.
Nevertheless, the President further, Indonesia should be more rational in every decision. SBY was underlined and it is important to ensure that there is no escape from the Indonesian region.
"But if we choose war, we have to spend the budget for the war. Not to mention any casualties. For what the existence of agreements with ASEAN countries if there is a war between the ASEAN countries alone," said SBY.
Based on that, SBY finally made the decision to negotiate with Malaysia through the streets. In negotiations, the government still holds the principle of sovereignty is a fixed price. "We have confidence that is ours," said SBY
